Better Together: Supporting OUR Generation

OUR Generation is delighted to offer this FREE shared learning event hosted by Co-operation Ireland.

Aimed at professionals, practitioners and youth workers, the event features key note speakers, Owen O’Kane, Shane Martin and Richard Hogan.

Who is eligible?

Adults 18+ working with children and young people aged 9-25 in a professional or volunteer capacity. Includes youth workers, community workers, and practitioners.

Overview

This event focuses on one of the most pressing issues facing young people today: teen anxiety. Gain expert insight and practical tools from leading mental health professionals and thought leaders:

  • Owen O’Kane – Psychotherapist and bestselling author of Ten to Zen
  • Richard Hogan – Renowned family psychotherapist and author of Home is Where the Start Is
  • Shane Martin – Psychologist, author, and expert in well-being and resilience

This event will also include workshops on themes relevant to young people today such as emotional regulation and embracing cultural diversity, as well as expert insight into social identity perspective by Ulster University and promoting mental health through sport.
